Baseball Oakland is new website/blog that will celebrate all things Oakland, especially the city's rich and colorful baseball history. Founded by die-hard A's fans, Baseball Oakland also will follow and write about continuing efforts to build a new A's baseball park in Oakland.
Members include:
Mike Davie is a native Oaklander and longtime A's fan. He practically grew up in the bleachers and even remembers the Dave Kingman/Don Sutton era. When not keeping up with Oakland happenings or watching Cal football from Tightwad Hill, he can usually be found in the right field bleachers at the Coliseum.
Garth Kimball is a Human Resources Analyst for a public utility who lives in Oakland. His earliest memory of baseball includes his father aking the family, by car, to the big city to the north, Oakland. He fell in love with the Coliseum before he fell in love with the A's.
Colbert Tse is an East Bay native and a lifelong A's fan, who fell in love with the team during the Haas Era.
Delvin Washington is an Oakland native who attended his first A's game the summer of '68 and has been a fan of the team ever since.
